The Milton Keynes Family Festival The Big Moo – is taking place for the 3rd year running this year on 11th
and 12th July and the line up of acts on the main stage this year is exceptional.
On Saturday 11th the award winning Theatre District Mascot Olympics will run throughout the day, but in between events they have the likes of Dan Magness who will be displaying his skill and tricks with a ball and has just become the World Record holder for keeping a football off the ground for 24hours, the MK Community Choir, Spectrum Arts singers, Fuzion and there will be an interactive session to get you laughing with Jo Eadie from the Laughter Club. Later on they will be joined by local talent including Meggie We Can’t Fly, Daniela Bove, Kids with Crow Feet and Noon Layer.
On the Sunday they have some amazing bands joining us from far and wide and several currently play the circuit in London. The stage will kick off at 12 noon with Monkey Finger who will be followed by Zeitgeist, Murray Hockridge, J Leon, Mind Warp Pavilion and Groove 8 (who are actually a 9 piece band), each playing a 40 minute set. Marine Kulture, a fantastic electronica band, who are travelling up from London will start their session at 6.30pm and it will finish around 8pm after Stonesoul.
